Summer Fun Begins With Us!
With three fun summer programs beginning just after the close of the school year, Camp Us runs the length of the summer giving children a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, explore the outdoors, and continue discovering and learning.
- There is limited funding available through the Early Learning Resource Center for working families. Call soon to add your child to the wait list for child care subsidy, 814-515-1223.
- All children who enroll by the end of May will receive a FREE Camp Us camp specific t-shirt!
- Nutritious meals and snacks are provided.

Camp Us Explorers
Summer Day Camp for School Age Children
Camp Us Explorers is an exciting summer camp for school age children entering grades 1-6. Our program includes:
- A safe, structured environment promoting positive interaction between campers and caring teachers
- Cooking days, arts and crafts, trips to the movies, and Splash Day at the Altoona Curve Stadium
- A new curriculum each summer, with camper input on daily activities
- Weekly creative workshops and team building exercises
- Educational field trips across the Allegheny Mountains to learn about the history of Central Pennsylvania
- Athletic activities, such as outdoor games, relays, tag, kickball, jump rope, volleyball, and many more sports
- A wonderful opportunity to make new friends, get fresh air, exercise, and have a fun summer
Camp Us MiniKins
Camp Us MiniKins is for 5 year olds entering Kindergarten
Camp Us MiniKins is an exciting summer camp for 5 year olds entering Kindergarten. Our program includes:
- A safe, structured environment promoting positive interaction between campers and caring teachers
- Special lessons to help campers understand what to expect in a kindergarten classroom
- Plenty of time spent outdoors, enjoying the sunshine, and getting exercise
- A place to spend the summer with old friends and to make new ones
- Designed for parents who want their child to have a memorable summer while preparing for kindergarten adventures
- Creative workshops and team building exercises
- Camp Us MiniKins runs the length of the summer
- Enroll for the entire summer or join us for two weeks of specialized kindergarten prep. Our featured Kinder Camp runs July 15-26.
Camp Us Littles
Camp Us Littles is for Ages 3 and 4
Camp Us Littles is a fun summer camp for Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten children. Camp Us Littles helps working parents bridge the gap between the end of the school year and the beginning of the next. Our program includes:
- A safe, structured environment promoting positive interaction between campers and caring teachers
- Plenty of fun summer activities, both outside in the sunshine and in our air-conditioned center
- Continued learning and growth throughout the summer months
- For parents who want the fun and learning to continue when the school year ends
- Fun themes and activities including hands-on crafts and games
- Introduces children to the routine of preschool, making friends, and stepping into the fun of learning
