Gymnastics

Gymnastic classes will focus on locomotive movement, coordination, and overall physical development. Basic gymnastic fundamental skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, jumping and balancing are incorporated into the lessons.

Tanya Romanowicz, with a BS from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Physical Education and Sport, is the instructor. She was a competitive gymnast for 11 years at Gemini Gymnastics School, Altoona Area High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was the 1986 Regional Balance Beam Champion. She is also a member of 1988 National Championship Team – Division II.

Tanya has been coaching gymnastics from the beginner and preschool level through college level of 22 years of age. She is a certified PIAA official for the high school level and recreational programs.

Classes are offered for Young Preschool, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten students.
